~ Vitamin sale ~

Since it is the middle of the month, we thought it would be a good time for another sale in the vitamin section.
The following items have been marked down until the end of July:

~ Daily price reductions ~

Next to our regular sale, we mark down prices of produce and other select items daily.
We do this to prevent wasting otherwise good products.
We mark them down for example due to an upcoming best before date, a change of packaging/lay-out or because we are going to discontinue them.
The markdowns differ daily, so make sure to get advantage of those markdowns while you can!
Below a couple of examples of our most recent marked down products.

~ Canning jars ~

Ready right when you need it!
Canning jars. One gallon, one liter and 500 mils.
Time to can up some of those fresh fruits and veggies!
And no, you don't have to buy twelve of them at once.
At Simply Delicious, you can buy them in the quantity of your desire.

~ A2 D'Dutchmen dairy milk ~

Delivered in gorgeous glass bottles, we are now selling A2 D'Dutchmen cow's milk, found in the dairy section.
A2 milk is an option for people with a lactose sensitivity, if their doctor has approved of it of course, as every case of lactose sensitivity is different.
The protein that is found in A2 milk differs from regular milk protein, that is why some people that are sensitive to cow's milk are able to drink it.
People with lactose intolerance are not able to drink this kind of milk.

Perfect timing for the season!

No time to drive all the way to Sicamous?

No problem! Just grab yourself a bucket or two of this ice cream and suddenly you'll be able to grab the summer feeling right out of your own freezer.

~ We are still Keto-ing ~

It has been a little quieter around our keto journey.
That is, we have noticed that the sales on keto products have been slowing down.
Therefore, we are wondering if you could give us some advice.
What could we order in to make our shop even more keto friendly?
What would convenience you a lot if we'd be selling it?

~ Keto local foodblogger ~

Two weeks ago I was on the look out for a local food blogger, to feature some recipes that have been created by locals.
Through Instagram, I was approached by local foodblogger @ketocrystal_, who suggested I'd share her recipe for a delicious 'fat bomb' in this newsletter.
When you follow a keto lifestyle, sweets are normally hard to come by as not all cities have a Simply Delicious store in their downtown area. That is why a lot of keto'ers make their own sweets.
The recipe:

~ Collagen pistachio vanilla bean fat bombs ~

  • 4 oz. Organic Raw Cocoa Butter
  • 4 TBSP Organic Coconut Manna/Butter
  • 2 TBSP Swerve Confectioners Sugar Replacement
  • 3 TBSP Organic Grass Fed Butter
  • 1 Scoop Organic Grass Fed Bovine Collagen
  • 1/2 tsp. Organic Vanilla Extract
  • 1/8 tsp. Organic Vanilla Bean Powder (or 1 bean)
  • 1/3 cup Chopped Pistachios
  • Pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt
  1. Melt Cocoa Butter, Coconut Manna, Butter, & Swerve in a pot over low heat
  2. Once melted add in Collagen, Vanilla Extract, and Vanilla Bean Powder
  3. Remove from heat and stir in pinch of salt and chopped pistachios
  4. The Pistachios and some extra vanilla bean will float to the bottom so spoon out the nuts into your prepared mini candy cups or silicone molds
  5. Top each cup/mold with white chocolate mixture (this will create a layered effect too which looks pretty cool in my opinion)
Your macros will depend on your mold size so I recommend calculating your own but mine came in at: 7% carbs (only 10g for the entire recipe!!!), 87% fat, & 6% protein. I made 25 so my macros worked out to 101 calories, 0.4g carbs, 2.14 g fat, & 0.8g of protein each.
Crystal has got a bunch of great recipes on her blog and Instagram!
I am planning on featuring her recipes more often now, but if you cant wait to get inspired then I'd strongly recommend you to visit her pages!
